BSH has specialised in Pediatric care from past 35years. Pediatrics is a branch of medicine that deals with the health and disease of children. At Basant Sahney hospital, the department consists of a children’s ward, a pediatric intensive care unit and a special care neonatal unit.

Outpatient unit (OPD) has a pediatric section which includes immunization clinic. Immunization is provided by a trained vaccinator. A pediatrician is available for consultation throughout the OPD hours of 9.00 AM to 8.00PM. In OPD, our thrust is not only on treatment of diseases but also on promotion of overall health of children and prevention of diseases, especially nutritional diseases and infections.
